Presidents Corner
I have received several emails recently from owners with questions about PAYhoa including concerns about not having an account, how to log in, or confusion with ACH payments. I would like to take a moment to clarify a few key points and correct some common misconceptions. What is PAYhoa? Despite the name, PAYhoa is not currently used for dues or any type of payments. Instead, it is a multi-functional software tool that helps manage various needs of homeowner’s associations. How Copperchase is Using PAYhoa: While we are still in the initial stages of implementing the software, some of the features we are already using include:
- Maintenance and other requests, with built-in tracking and follow-up
- An opt-in community directory
- A community calendar for upcoming events
- Message boards
- Access to documents — including historical community documents and unit-specific records.
- Do I Have an Account? Yes — every Copperchase owner already has an account in PAYhoa. If you have not logged in go to https://app.payhoa.com and click “Forgot your password” reset, it and access your account. Once logged in, you can choose to opt into the community directory and select what information you wish to share. We are still learning the system and growing into its capabilities, so we appreciate your patience as we continue improving how we use this helpful tool.
Shelley Almgren, President – Copperchase HOA
THANK YOU TO ALL THE OWNERS WHO CAME TO THE HOA OWNERS 1/4 MEETING SEPT 21, 2025. IT WAS A GREAT TURNOUT AND THE THANK TO THE HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE FOR THE REFRESHMENTS. IT IS AT THESE MEETINGS THAT QUESTIONS MAY BE ASKED AND HOPEFULLY WE HAVE THE ANSWERS. IF NOT, WE WILL TRY TO FIND THE ANSWER. ALSO, IT IS A GOOD WAY TO GET TO KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS.
Thank you to all our volunteers who have helped with our committees: helping with watering, hospitality, and any others who have stepped up to help. You may have noticed the pool is closed for the season. We thank our great pool committee for their hard work in keeping the pool area clean and safe.
WATERING YOUR PROPERTY:
The city of OKC has in place rules that you can only irrigate with a sprinkler system on even number days. If you choose to water by hand with a hose, you may water any day of the week.
Reminders: IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ
- please clean up after your pets
- check with your insurance agent if you have not already about Loss Assessment coverage
- keep in mind if there are any major repairs to your condo that you are not sure if it is an HOA or owner covered expense contact the HOA via PAYhoa or email copperchaseokc@gmail.com. You MUST have permission from the board before any exterior modifications or repairs. If it is architectural, it MUST be pre-approved, or work will be called to cease until approval by the board. This is an HOA that has rules for everyone.
UPDATE OF TREES IN COPPERCHASE
We have submitted photos of the various trees in Copperchase that are in distress to the OU Horticultural free service. We have had a response from their head horticulturist and will try to move forward with remediation. We have been told the trees are not in distress due to lack of water.
We have had a few of the larger potholes filled in by a concrete company. We are only able to do what we can afford to do at this time. The largest were addressed this year. Painting for hail damage will be starting next week, weather permitting. If you have a gate that is locked, please leave it open if you are in the back, SE building. Painting starts there and working around the perimeter then will go to the inside area units. The pool fence that was damaged is being repaired today.
