Mark Your Calendars!
The June Owners’ Meeting will be Sunday, June 8, 2025. Light refreshments will be available at 6:00 PM with the meeting starting at 6:30 PM. During this meeting, Owners will receive updates, enjoy getting to know your neighbors and ask questions regarding our community.
New Roofs
You have likely noticed the significant progress taking place throughout our community as part of the ongoing roofing project. We are pleased to report that, without any weather-related delays, the contractor remains on track to complete the project on schedule. Thanks to a competitive bidding process, we were able to proceed without requiring a special assessment from Owners. We are very pleased to be partnering with Brad Ashford of Ashford Roofing, whose professionalism and quality of work have been instrumental in the success of this project.
Landscape Committee
Volunteers have been hard at work to beautify planters throughout Copperchase. They have been doing physically demanding work like cleaning the beds out, weeding, and adding new plants to brighten our Community. This committee is our first Volunteers of the Month!
Pool Committee
The pool is open thanks to our pool committee volunteers, Please before using the pool read the Swimming Pool Rules available on the Copperchase website: https://copperchaseokc.net/web/house_rules/page_15
Hospitality Committee
Gathered recently to brainstorm and plan for both upcoming social events and outreach to community members experiencing loss or illness. Many thanks to those who have volunteered to work with this group! Stay tuned regarding our Annual 4th of July celebration. The main dish will be provided with volunteers asked to provide side dishes and even your favorite dessert! If you plan to attend, please email your dish to copperchaseokc@gmail.com.
Pets Running Loose
At Copperchase, we love our pets! But, the board has received multiple complaints regarding community pets, both dogs and cats, running loose. If you own a pet, the bylaws of Copperchase prohibit pets from running loose. If you have not reviewed the Copperchase HOA documents, please take time to review on the Copperchase website https://copperchaseokc.net/web/residents.
Sprinkler System
Recently, we asked the Oklahoma City Water Conservation team to provide a free checkup of our irrigation system. The team ran through each zone and flagged any problem areas that may be costing us money. Each checkup includes a comprehensive report showing how to improve water use efficiency and save Copperchase money. This is a work in progress and will have repairs completed once we receive the final report. What a great service the City provides to HOAs!
Due to the extent of found problems, the sprinkler system will not be turned on this summer until repairs are made. Volunteers are hand watering the plant beds. If you wish to help with this effort, please contact copperchaseokc@gmail.com.
June Volunteers of the Month
The board would like to recognize the Landscape Committee, led by Mary Kay Bullard and Claire Merryman. The Committee researched and chose pretty sun-loving flowers for our garden beds and worked with our landscape contractor to get them planted. The beautification is a great part of our renegotiated contract with Garcia! Their hard work and dedication have made Copperchase look beautiful and ready for summer fun.
